Celebrating Community Action Center - Nepal

Updated: Feb 6, 2023

On Friday, February 2nd 2023, CAC - Nepal celebrated their 30th Anniversary.

We applaud this very impressive achievement.

"We are a non-profit, non-governmental social organization established in April 1993. Our objective is mainly to empower girls and women living in extreme poverty and marginalisation conditions that exacerbate their vulnerability to

illegal migration, trafficking, violence and HIVAIDs."

The CAC - Nepal team works relentlessly to empower women and children.

Their work mainly entails:

HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support among children and women

• Children and women’s rights advocacy

• Action against trafficking in person

• Leadership Development Training

• Reproductive Health

• Networking

• Child Labour

• Income-generating programmes

• Domestic violence

• Peace enabling and conflict transformation

• Research and study

The CAC - Nepal team members and supporters are committed and passionate about advocating for the rights of women and children in Nepal. CAC-Nepal has played a vital role in the fight for access to education and economic empowerment for women and children. Due to this passion, we strive to work together with them to ignite curiosity, self - awareness and confidence in Children through experiential storytelling.

Thank you, CAC - Nepal Team, for your partnership and we look forward to our continued work together.

By buying our books, you are supporting CAC - Nepal to carry out various activities and learning opportunities for children.

Below are some glimpses of when the CAC - Nepal team visited an orphanage in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu back in the summer of 2021. Together with the children, they enjoyed both the audio and visual storytelling of Are you a Snow Leopard? much before it was officially published. Stay tuned for more in the upcoming year!
